about

The Scene Queen

When Shannon was in the 5th grade, she wrote a report on her "dream job" - becoming a wedding planner. Although it wasn't always the plan (she graduated college with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Music), her passion for planning, designing, and entertaining eventually seeped it's way in to her career. Although she has been professionally planning events for over 10 years now, it wasn’t until six years ago, when she moved from Los Angeles to Seattle, that she opened her own business, Sublime Events.

When she's not working on timelines or daydreaming about color palettes, she can be found in the kitchen baking tasty sweets, chumming with the locals at Pike Place, cooking for friends, reading, shoe shopping, scouring flea markets for vintage buttons, dancing her heart out at the nearest Zumba class, or taking long walks around Queen Anne Hill with her daughter Olive.
